Yatri Sathi Expands Shuttle Service Network in South Kolkata

Kolkata, India — In a major effort to transform daily urban transportation and address growing suburban commuting needs, Yatri Sathi has officially announced a comprehensive expansion of its popular AC shuttle service across key neighborhoods in South Kolkata and its adjoining southern fringes. Under this newly launched phase, commuters across prominent hubs—including Vijaygarh, Ranikuthi, Joka, Budge Budge, Jadavpur, and Sonarpur—can now enjoy seamless, high-quality point-to-point travel. Designed to offer an economical alternative to traditional modes of transit, the service features a transparent, flat fare structure fixed at just ₹49 per passenger per ride.

This strategic extension aims to bridge last-mile connectivity gaps and provide a stress-free, convenient daily commute for thousands of office workers, students, and local residents. Through the intuitive Yatri Sathi mobile application, users can easily reserve guaranteed seats in advance, eliminating the uncertainty and discomfort of overcrowding during peak rush hours. The platform enables passengers to browse available routes, customize their pickup and drop-off points, and select departure times that best fit their personal schedules.

By offering a reliable fleet of air-conditioned vehicles combined with fixed pricing, Yatri Sathi empowers passengers to manage their monthly travel budgets predictably without compromising on safety or comfort. This initiative builds upon the proven success of Yatri Sathi’s existing shuttle corridors, which already seamlessly connect major suburban locations such as Barrackpore, Serampore, and Bally with key commercial and IT hubs including Salt Lake Sector V and New Town.
