Rituparna Sengupta and Amartya Ray’s New Movie 'Nevermind' Release Date Out; Poster Launched

Kolkata, June 2026: A brand new Bengali movie is coming to theatres soon. The production house Bhavna Aaj O Kal has just revealed the poster of their upcoming film, Nevermind. This movie is going to hit the screens on July 3 2026.

People are really looking forward to this film because it brings together an unique pair for the first time: superstar Rituparna Sengupta and the talented young actor Amartya Ray. It is also the time Chaiti Ghoshal is directing a film.

A Night in Kolkata: The Story of Nevermind

Nevermind is a mix of thriller and city drama. The story takes place over one day and night in Kolkata, around the famous Park Street area.

The movie follows two characters:

Trina Lahiri, played by Rituparna Sengupta is a woman who is looking for peace and redemption in her life.

Jude, played by Amartya Ray is a bar singer who keeps his past a secret.

When Trina Lahiri and Jude meet their lives become connected with strangers who are also carrying their own hidden secrets. By the end of the day a deep truth comes out. Changes everything. Nevermind explores emotions, longing and the things people choose to hide from the world. Nevermind is really about the emotions and the things people hide.

A Grand Poster Launch Event

The official poster was launched at an event held at 'Hashtag' in Kolkata on June 2. The entire cast and crew of Nevermind attended the event. The biggest highlight of the evening was when the legendary singer Usha Uthup stepped on stage to unveil the poster to the media and the public.
