Governor Movie Trailer: Manoj Bajpayee, Madhoo, and Adah Sharma Star in 1990 Economic Thriller

Mumbai: The big trailer launch event of the Bollywood movie 'Governor' was held in Mumbai and it was a huge success with many people from the media and film fans showing up. The movie is made by Vipul Amrutlal Shah from Sunshine Pictures. Directed by Chinmai and it stars Manoj Bajpayee in the main role along with Madhoo and Adah Sharma.

The movie is about politics and the economy. It is going to come out on June 12. The movie tells us about an important part of Indian history that many people have forgotten. The big economic crisis of 1990-1991.

A Journey Back to the Crisis of 1990

The producer, Vipul Shah talked about how important this movie's. He said that back in 1990 India was in trouble because of a global oil crisis caused by the US-Iraq war.

Vipul Shah said, "People today do not even know that 35 years ago we did not have big shopping malls, many movie theaters or big roads in India. We also did not have brands like Pepsi and Coke. We were running out of time to save our country from a financial crisis."

He also said that one person, who is not well known did a very brave thing to save the Indian economy. The movie 'Governor' is a tribute to this persons efforts. Vipul Shah also said that the movies release is very interesting because it is coming out at a time when there are global tensions, which makes it very relevant to people today.

Manoj Bajpayee said, "It Was Like Climbing the Himalayas"

Manoj Bajpayee, who has won awards for his acting plays the main character in the movie a smart man named Ramnan. Manoj Bajpayee said that even though he has been acting for 30 years this role made him very nervous.

He said, "To act like Ramnan, who's very smart and knowledgeable was a very big task. It felt like climbing the Himalayas." He thanked the director, Chinmai for helping him when he got stuck or felt anxious during filming. Manoj Bajpayee said, "Chinmai is an actor himself and whenever I needed help he would come and guide me."

When someone asked him why he looked so serious during filming Manoj Bajpayee. Said that he had to focus very hard to get the character right.

Madhoos Dreams Come

Madhoo, who is a well-known actress from the movie 'Roja' plays an important role in the movie as Ramnans wife. She said that she was very happy to be a part of this project. Madhoo said that she had always wanted to work with Manoj Bajpayee and now her dream has come true.

She said, "I had interviewed Manoj Ji years ago and I always wanted to work with him. Now my dream has come true." Madhoo also told a story about how she was convinced to do the movie by the casting director, Mukesh Chhabra while she was in London. At first she was not sure if she wanted to do the movie because her role was not very big. Now she is very proud of the movie and does not regret her decision.

The Movie Supports New Theater Talent

The director, Chinmai and the producer, Vipul Shah said that the movie 'Governor' is not about big stars. They have chosen talented actors from theater groups in different parts of India like the National School of Drama, Hyderabad, Bhopal, Nagpur and Chhattisgarh.

Manoj Bajpayee said that this was an idea. He said, "Our country has talented theater actors who do not usually come to Mumbai to work in movies. This is not their loss. Our loss, because we do not use their talent. This movie will show the world how talented they are."

The Movie is Not Boring. A Thriller

When someone asked if a movie about the economy and finance might be boring the director disagreed. Chinmai said that the movie 'Governor' has emotions, a beautiful story about a husband and wife and some funny moments. It is like a thriller that will keep people excited and on the edge of their seats.

The producer, Vipul Shah is not worried about the movie competing with movies that are coming out on the same day. He said that it is good for cinema that people have many choices now.
