Kolkata, 29 October 2025: Go Everywhere Tours & Travels Pvt. Ltd. announced the upcoming Unity Concert 2025 at a press conference organised in Chapter 2 yesterday. Present for the occasion were the eminent singers and musicians Mr Anindya Chatterjee of Chandrabindoo; Mr Debaditya Chaudhury, Mr Gaurab Chatterjee and Mr Rajiv Mitra of Lakkhichhara and Mr Rupam Islam, Mr Allan Ao, Mr Deep Ghosh, Tanmoy Das and Prasenjit Chakraborty of Fossils. Dr Palash Sen from Euphoria also addressed everyone virtually.

This unprecedented music event will bring together four of India’s most celebrated bands in a grand celebration of musical unity. Among the headliners are Rupam Islam’s Fossils, widely acclaimed as an iconic Bangla rock band that redefined Bengali independent music and Euphoria, led by Dr Palash Sen, long regarded as one of India’s most iconic and enduring names in Hindi rock. Also performing are Kolkata stalwarts Lakkhichhara, a rock band active since the mid-1990s, and Chandrabindoo, a veteran Bengali band known for its witty, satirical lyrics.

“Music knows no boundaries. When bands from different eras and places come together, the melody becomes a celebration of our shared culture. This Unity Concert is about fans from all walks of life singing in harmony.” said Mr Rupam Islam, Lead Vocalist, Fossils, speaking at the press conference.

“For many of us, these songs were the soundtrack of our youth. Performing them again with old friends brings back so many memories. This concert will feel like a trip down memory lane, not just for us on stage, but for the fans who grew up with these anthems,” noted Mr Debaditya Chaudhury, Keyboardist, Lakkhichhara, reflecting on the nostalgia the concert will evoke.

“Even though our sounds and stories are different, what binds us together is the spirit of being a ‘Bangla Band’. It’s more than a genre, it’s an identity, a movement that gave voice to our generation in our own language. Standing alongside Fossils, Lakkhichhara and Euphoria feels like celebrating that shared journey, of making music that speaks from Bengal, yet belongs everywhere,” said Mr Anindya Chatterjee, Singer-lyricist, Chandrobindoo.

“Travel connects people across places, music connects them across emotions. This Concert is a new initiative for us, but we wanted to bring both those worlds together. It’s our way of celebrating the spirit of togetherness and the shared memories that define every journey, whether on the road or on stage.” Mr Sombuddja Ghosh, Director, Go Everywhere Tours & Travels.

By bringing together these legendary names, Unity Concert 2025 promises not just an evening of music, but a moment in history that will resonate far beyond the stage.

The concert will be held on 1st November 2025 from 1 PM onwards at Gitanjali Stadium.
