Kolkata: The Bengali movie scene is going to see a couple on the big screen in the upcoming movie "Shiuli." This movie is directed by Babai Sen, who is known for his way of storytelling. "Shiuli" is going to be different from movies because it tells a love story that brings together two different cultures from Bengal and South India. The first look of the characters was just. People who love movies are already talking about "Shiuli." The movie has a cast, including Twinkle Barua, Rasil, Sudipta Chakraborty and Arshi Sen.
At its heart "Shiuli" is not just a romantic movie. It is a story about feelings that explores the connection between two different Indian cultures. The story is about a woman from Bengal and a man from South India who fall in love. Even though they have languages, traditions and customs their love shows that it can overcome any obstacle. When two people connect language is not a problem. This is the main theme of the movie.
The movie is three friends whose relationships are tested by a love triangle. As they go through the ups and downs of life the story shows how love, friendship and personal goals intersect. The characters have to make decisions that will change their relationships making the movie relatable to people who watch it.
When the movie was announced, the people who made it also released information about the characters. Twinkle Barua plays the character, Shiuli, who is a traditional but modern woman from Bengal. Rasil plays the lead, Shibu, who represents the culture of South India. Sudipta Chakraborty and Arshi Sen also star in the movie adding depth to the love story.
Music is a part of what makes "Shiuli" emotional. The music director, Pritam Dev has created a soundtrack that fits the friendly parts of the story. The songs feature singers from Bengal, including Prashmita Paul, Pota, Adrij Ghosh and Souvik Kar. The movie was filmed in locations outside of Kolkata making it a treat to watch.
Director Babai Sen talked about why he wanted to make this movie. He said, "I love working with ideas and telling stories that are different, from what we usually see. That is why I wanted to make a love story that brings together two cultures. I think if we make a movie with a story and new faces people will love it.. The most important thing is to have good content. The movie industry needs exciting talent and that is what I am trying to do with 'Shiuli'."
The movie is being made by Susmita Adhikary and Nazim Munshi who're well-known producers. They said that the movie is coming along well and will be released soon. With a story, music and a talented team "Shiuli" is going to be one of the most exciting movies of the season.
